Voices from the Labyrinth: A Point of View Lesson for Theseus and the Minotaur
Bring Greek mythology to life and teach point of view with this interactive classroom activity based on the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. In Voices from the Labyrinth, students take on the roles of 25 characters and retell the story from their character’s point of view. As they interview one another, the full myth is revealed—piece by piece—through collaboration and discussion.

How It Works
Each student receives a Character Story Snippet and a Voices from the Labyrinth worksheet. In timed partner rotations, they share their stories, record key details, and connect their characters to others. Once all have shared, the class pieces together the complete myth and reflects on how multiple perspectives form the full narrative.
