Roll-ympics: An Olympics Print-and-Play Game for 1-35+ Players
Regular price
$4.99
Roll your way to victory by competing in a series of 15 mini-games based on actual Olympic events! Will you win a laurel-leaf crown–or go home an Olympic loser? With creative gameplay that mimics each event, compete against yourself, another opponent, or a whole class as you run, jump, throw, and grapple your way to victory and claim the title of “pentathlete” or “decathlete.” Along the way, you will learn about the ancient Olympics and their revival in the late 19th century.
This download offers two different contests of varying difficulty:
- Pentathlon: This ancient Greek “contest of five” is a great way to introduce yourself to the game mechanics. Events include: discus, long jump, javelin, footracing, and wrestling.
- Decathlon: This contest features 10 modern events and is great for intermediate players. Events include: shot put, high jump, hammer throw, relay race, sprint, marathon, pole vault, steeplechase, triple jump, and hurdles.
- Or combine both contests to make a Pentakaidecathlon (yes, that’s a real word) consisting of 15 events.
Play Time: 20-120 mins.
