Mad Tea Party: An Alice in Wonderland Social Deduction Game

This game plays like a multiplayer version of the popular game Guess Who? Players ask their fellow players questions and use that information to guess their secret identities based on the whimsical cast of characters from Alice in Wonderland. But players cannot ask each other just anything. They must be “yes” or “no” questions related to a list of specific guest characteristics.

Storyline: What a Mad, Mad Muddle! The Mad Hatter invited Alice and the wacky residents of Wonderland to mix and mingle at yet another of his madcap tea parties, but lo and behold, he accidentally served memory-wiping tea, and everyone has quite forgotten who they are. Fortunately, the guests received place cards, so they can remember key details about themselves, but they still remember nothing about the guests sitting across from them. Now they must puzzle out each other’s identities. But in typical Wonderland fashion, it would not do to just ask their identities outright. They must use logic to deduce it!

Objective: Be the first player to collect three teapots by guessing three of the other guests’ identities. Why teapots? It’s the Mad Hatter’s special Forget-Me-Not Tea, three pots of which will restore everyone’s memory.

Time: 15-30 minutes based on the number of players

Two different levels of gameplay:  The download includes an "Easy" gamesheet (suitable for younger players), where all the guests are grouped by creature time, and an "Advanced" gamesheet, where the guests are scrambled, for older players.
