The Literary Adventurers Club

Reading doesn't have to be a forced march. It can be an adventure!
The Literary Adventurers Club is built around one simple idea: Reading shouldn’t feel like a forced march. It should feel like an adventure.
Whether you're new to Reader's Theater script-stories or already use them with your students, the Literary Adventurers Club gives you an easy way to bring this classroom-changing approach to life. Explore classic tales and new adventures while building fluency, confidence, and a lifelong love of reading.
Once a month, set aside a special day—maybe the last Friday of the month, the day before a holiday weekend, or whenever your class needs something different—and make it your Literary Adventurers Day.

I know some teachers don’t have time to make Reader’s Theater part of every week’s routine. That’s exactly why the Literary Adventurers Club is built around one special day each month—something your students can look forward to without adding another weekly commitment to your schedule.
On your Literary Adventurers Day, you and your students won’t just read a story. You’ll experience it together through a Reader’s Theater script-story. The adventure is yours to design. Each month, you’ll be able to choose from themed adventures featuring classic literature, mythology, legends, mysteries, and more.
How much you do is completely up to you. It can be a simple, low-prep reading day where students dive into a great story together. Or it can become a full-blown adventure—with Story Stamps, Adventurer Gear, classroom celebrations, and maybe even you showing up in a pith helmet and a ridiculous fake moustache.
There is only one goal: Laugh, learn, and rediscover the joy of reading alongside your students once a month.
